Summer Update from East Linton Community Hall

As we move through the summer months, here is a brief update on recent activity at the Hall and our plans for the months ahead.

Antiques Fair

Our monthly Antiques Fair has it's last fair in June before summer break and will return in September. We’re grateful to the regular attendees and stallholders who continue to make this event a success.

October Art Exhibition

Our annual Art Exhibition will take place from 8th–11th October 2026. This is a key fundraising event for the Hall, supporting our ability to offer affordable space to local groups and activities throughout the year.

Grant Funding

We have been awarded £15k 

Window Repairs 

We are currently seeking grant funding to carry out essential refurbishment of the Hall’s windows. The project includes internal and external painting, replacement panes, and extensive putty work. Due to the scaffolding required, this is a costly undertaking. Support through grant applications will be crucial to ensuring the work can be completed. 

Hall Floor Refurbishment

The Small & Main Hall Floor are due to be scrubbed and varnished to maintain its condition and improve the appearance of the space for all users at the end of august

Garden Maintenance

We would like to thank our Hall Keeper with Vanessa, who has continued to care for the garden and grounds over the summer. Their work helps to keep the Hall a welcoming and pleasant space for all.
