Pix in the Stix - Saturday 4th March
~* The afternoon show *~
March Pix in the Stix is our first VINTAGE film day ,so for a day/evening of nostalgia,
what better than PINOCCHIO ,( 1940) ,Walt Disney's 2nd full length animation
(which many consider his best) for the afternoon family film....colourful with lots of
songs.....bring the children along for a fun afternoon......
Remember, under 12's must have a responsible adult supervising.
Doors open 4pm....film starts 4.30pm sharp.
~* The evening show is a cracker from 1961 *~
'WHISTLE DOWN THE WIND ' featuring an amazingly talented young Hayley Mills,
a young, handsome Alan Bates and a host of local children from the surrounding area
where the film was set.
It's exciting, funny and heartbreaking and beautifully filmed in rural Lancashire.
Don't forget the Kleenex !!
There will be a short interval during the main film.
Bar as usual.
We anticipate a large turnout for this film so try to get there early
...7pm for 7.30 prompt........we are only licensed to hold 60 people
which includes Pix in the Stix operators so space is limited.
